Do you remember the last time you were afraid or apprehensive about something? A couple weeks ago I had the privilege of speaking at a women’s conference. If you’re anything like me, the anticipation leading up to the presentation is ten times worse than actually speaking.

I’ve designed a fun giveaway for you to help me get the word out about the study! The contest runs from now through Wednesday, September 7th @ 11:00 a.m., and you can enter once a day.
I Found God in a Basement
Once upon a time ago, in the city of Chicago, there lived a Greek family. There was a mom, a dad, and five children. I was the oldest girl. We grew up to be a religious family. Our parents didn’t go with us to church, but they required that we attend.
It’s not my fruit
Are you a project person? Projects can be intimidating; especially ones that take five years. If I had known at the onset of writing, Outrageously Fruitful, a fruit of the Spirit Bible study, it wouldn’t be complete for 1825 days, I highly doubt I would have begun.
It’s Time! Be Outrageously Fruitful
Are you distracted by our ‘selfie’ world, where the prevailing attitude is “what’s in it for me?” Do you find yourself falling for society’s definitions of love, joy, and peace? Have you found yourself trying to do things in your own strength – only to run out of steam before you’re done?

The Beauty of Bruises
We’ve taken a long look at beauty this month. And it hasn’t involved a mirror! In today’s culture, it’s so easy to get focused on what’s on the outside, instead of spending time cultivating what will last – what’s on the inside.
What Do Your Words Say About You
The junior high and high school years can be cruel. I remember being on the receiving end of some pretty mean words. And unfortunately, I also remember dishing out a few words I wish I had never spoken.
Pride
Pride is a dangerous thing. Sometimes I don’t realize its hold on me until it’s too late. I remember being asked to speak for a women’s group a couple years ago. Lots of preparation and prayer went into it. I really wanted the Lord to use me to encourage these ladies.
