Celebrating You, A Book Launch & Camp Rhino

When was the last time you celebrated a special day? Maybe it was your birthday. Your parent’s anniversary. Or a holiday.

With all the negativity in our world, it’s good to re-focus on the things we’re thankful for and take time to celebrate. The psalmist David points out our main reason to rejoice:

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night. Psalm 92:1-2, KJV

Did you catch it? We can celebrate and be thankful because we serve a great God. He loves us and He’s faithful.

In addition to a wonderful Heavenly Father, here are some things I’m celebrating:

  • You, my reader—thank you for taking time to read what I write. I’m thankful for your support and encouragement. I appreciate you.

  • My prayer team—your prayer support is a life line. This most recent project has kept you on your knees. Thank you for sticking with it every step of the way.

  • Louie’s launch team—your willingness to share posts, pictures, contests, and all-things-Louie has been fantastic. Your encouragement and enthusiasm are contagious.

  • My book—”Louie to the Rescue – The Big Dig” is now available on Amazon and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The journey has been action-packed, and now it’s time to celebrate the release of this 3rd book in my Louie the Lawnmower series.

Louie to the Rescue – The Big Dig

My goal with the Louie the Lawnmower series is to motivate kids to develop godly character qualities. Each story is written about yard tools that face the same things our children do, and offers helpful solutions to handle those difficult situations in a Christ-honoring way.

This new adventure features Louie and his friends participating in a neighborhood yard competition. The arrival of a sarcastic shovel makes things difficult, and hurtful words cause big problems. Will the newcomer succeed in intimidating Louie and his friends? Or will her plan backfire?

I won’t spoil it for you! You can pick up a copy here to discover whose words win.

  • Notice that bonus items are available when you order before November 30th!

Camp Rhino

Not only has “Louie to the Rescue – The Big Dig” been launched, but I’m also celebrating the opportunity to partner with missionaries Mark and Amy Coffey to help raise funds for a special project in South Africa called Camp Rhino.

Roughly 50% of the proceeds from the sale of the “Louie to the Rescue – The Big Dig” will go toward making Camp Rhino a reality.

You can find out more about the camp here.
